The whole home, first
We start with the property and how it's lived in, not a product list — including how its wider technology already works — so security is designed with the home, never against it.
Surveyed, then specified on merit
A detailed survey informs a system designed for this home — the right platform and components for its layout, its heritage, and how discreet it needs to be.
Built in by our own engineers
Minimally invasive, heritage-sensitive installation — integrated so the system behaves as one considered whole rather than a collection of separate devices.
Proven, not just fitted
Every element — including the signalling paths and response protocol — is tested, verified and documented before a considered handover.
The relationship begins at handover
The system moves into Galactica Care: monitored, maintained and accountable to one party for as long as it's ours to look after.

Every system is built on a compliant, insurable alarm platform — the Texecom Premier Elite, an EN50131-grade platform — so the regulated core is never in question, whatever sits on top of it.
Specified on merit
Components are chosen because they're the right ones for this home — Western, locally-processing hardware selected on capability, not on which box a supplier happens to push.
Built for the home
Installation is minimally invasive and heritage-sensitive — wireless where cabling would intrude, routed and mounted so the fabric of the property is respected.
Finished to disappear
The mark of a good install is that you don't see it. Everything is dressed, aligned and finished to a standard that photographs well and lives quietly in the home.

Discretion isn't a courtesy we extend to our clients. For the people we work with, it's the whole point — and it governs how we conduct ourselves long before, and long after, the work itself.
Our own people
The work is carried out by Galactica's own engineers — known, accountable and briefed on the sensitivity of the homes they enter. Not a rotating cast of subcontractors.

We work around the household, not through it — minimal disruption, tidy sites, and a presence in the home that's as brief and unobtrusive as the job allows.
